Quick Description This conference a one day drive-in conference designed to provide students the opportunity to network with student leaders from across the state, learn new ideas to bring back to school student councils, develop skills that will make students more successful leaders at their schools, and learn about MASC and new ways to get involved in student government at the statewide level.
Workshop topics will include: Running meetings, planning events and involving your student body in school and district decision-making. A student service learning project that combines will support the 2006-2007 MASC state charity, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Delegates at this conference will create art kits to donate to Johns Hopkins Hospital. You can learn more about the project on the Art Supply Flyer by clicking here.

Current Event Files Event Synopsis WHO: High School Student Council students and advisors. Each school may bring a maximum of fifteen students and must be accompanied by at least one advisor or designee from their school. Public and private, MASC member and non-member schools are all invited to attend.

WHEN: Saturday, November 11, 2006 from 9:00 am-4:00 pm.
WHERE: North County High School, Glen Burnie, MD
COST: $20 per student and advisor. This registration fee covers all supplies, breakfast, lunch, snack and a t-shirt memento.
