MASC would like to inform all member schools that we are hosting our 2nd Annual Statewide Charity. We hope to continue this project for many years, but first we need your support to make this year's State Charity a success!

We have chosen the Kid's helping Hopkins as our State Charity for 2007-2008. Kids Helping Hopkins is an educational program sponsored by the Baltimore County School System and many other schools throughout the state to support vital programs at the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center. The program is designed to provide students of all ages the opportunity to help others without personal gain and to teach the values of compassion and respect for others. This worthwhile cause also fulfills the mission of the Maryland Association of Student Councils.We are extremely excited about this project and we hope to get the support of all member school!

In addition to collecting school supplies throughout the year, which you can donate at your school's student government office, MASC is currently in the process of deciding on a fund-raiser for Kid's helping Hopkins. We will have more details when the decision is made.
